my name is dirtholomew seago. i learned tintype when i started working with cole caswell and AgNo3 Lab at common ground fair in 2017. i got my first 4x5 camera in 2019, and began taking portraits of loved ones and loved places to learn more about the contemporary use of a historically meaningful form. i am a homebody and a curious traveler, fascinated by stillness and movement, shadow and silver, work and play, and the boundaries between worlds.

i’m ruby seago and i’m the tech wizard, social media guy, and general muse of the breakfast all day operations. i’m excited about alternative photography, i’m super in love with dirt and his creative process, and i have lots of fun being the point person for markets, fairs, customers and lovers of analog photography!
